ABOUT THE
CAM HOOK
Fabricated from 304 stainless steel, the cam hook features a spring loaded and fully-replaceable spring and release line. Weighing about 4.25 pounds, it has been tested to hold 4,039 pounds. The maximum working weight is 1,000 pounds. It exceeds OSHA compliance governed by 29CFR1926.251(A)(4) for special custom design grab hook devices.
The erecting crew must follow the truss manufacturer's specifications for lifting trusses when using the hook. It is to be used on the wood part of a wood truss only. To release, simply slack off and pull the release line to unhook. Lubricate the cam bolt when needed.
